“For Thou art great and doest wondrous things: Thou alone art God.”

(Psalm 86:10 )

The other day I was listening to a preacher on the radio, and he was giving a testimony about how God had changed his father’s life. He went on to talk about how his father was filled with such hatred and rage in his “BC” days; but after he came to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, he was then filled with Love for the very people he had once hated.

Listening to that testimony got me to thinking about all of The Great things that God alone does.

I was thinking about creation itself; the birds, animals, moon, stars, etc. All that He has done is great and wonderful, without question!

But you know what I consider to be just as great as all of His works of creation? The work He does in you and I When we trust Him and receive the Mercy that comes through Jesus.

We become what we never were before; Born Again.

If you can remember “who” you once were, and “where” you once were, then I’m pretty sure that you can relate. Only God can take a person full a rage and hate and fill him with His Love. Only God can take a former drug addict, alcoholic, or gang banger and give him a new desire to live right; and Only GOD can make beauty from Ashes!!

He truly IS Great, and He does wondrous things (in creation and in us). He Alone Is God!!
