His Grace Is Truly Sufficient
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
Many of you reading this are probably very familiar and well acquainted with the recent Passing of our son, Aaron.
There are no words that can accurately describe the challenge that this has been to our hearts and minds.
Since his passing there has not been a day that has gone by in which I have not prayed “Lord just give me the strength to make it through this day.”
I found myself praying such because, in my own being, I felt literally depleted of any strength or desire to go forth with the endeavors for that particular day.
It was written by one commentator “In suffering, there are solely two ways of relief. It can come by removing the load or by strengthening the shoulder that bears the load.”
What we encountered was a load that didn’t get removed…. Yet, I am here to testify that God has indeed “strengthened our shoulders” to bear it, and bear it in Faith.
In our weakness, frailty, grief, and pain We have learned that His Grace Is Truly Sufficient and His power made perfect as it rests upon us..
Lord, today we want to thank You for being all sufficient no matter where we have found ourselves in this life.Help us to trust you always and find our refuge and rest in your goodness and strength.
In His Grace,
Pastor Lowe
